Dr. Derek Wei, postdoctoral Fellow in the Ennist lab, has been awarded a Simons Postdoctoral Fellowship in Plant Biology. The fellowship provides three years of financial support and is intended to bring fresh perspectives to advance the field of plant biology. Dr Wei’s work, titled “Computational design and testing of high-efficiency photosynthetic proteins in plants” is jointly sponsored with the laboratory of Dr. Colleen Doherty (back to Lab News).
